Animals That Find You
Personal animal paintings, created around the creatures we recognise.
Across cultures and throughout human history, animals have carried meaning. They have been seen as guides, messengers, protectors, symbols, ancestors, omens and reflections of qualities we recognise within ourselves.
Animals That Find You is a series of personal paintings created around that connection.

There are animals that enter our lives. They appear at the edges of important moments. They return to the same places. They turn up in dreams, childhood memories, landscapes we love, or at times when something in us is changing.
And sometimes, one particular animal keeps finding us.
A fox crossing the road at exactly the right moment.
Deer appearing again and again at the edge of the garden.
An owl calling through the dark.
A raven that seems woven into a particular place.
A wolf you have carried somewhere inside you since childhood.
These encounters stay with us because they feel like more than coincidence.

Animals That Find You
Your animal. Your colours. Your story.
You tell me about the creature that has found its way into your life.
Where you see it, When it appears, What you feel when you encounter it. The places, colours, seasons, dreams, memories or moments that have become connected with it.
From those pieces, I create an original painting in my own style — bringing together the animal itself and the story that seems to live around it.
This isn't about producing a conventional wildlife portrait. It is about painting the relationship. The feeling of recognition. The reason this creature, out of all the creatures in the world, became yours.
