These festivals mark important points in the natural, seasonal cycle of the Earth, with the Quarter Days focusing on the sun and light, and the Cross-Quarter Days representing the halfway points between the solstices and equinoxes. 
Yule (Winter Solstice): Marks the shortest day of the year and the return of the sun. 
Imbolc: Celebrates the first signs of spring, light, and new life emerging from winter. 
Ostara (Spring Equinox): Celebrates the balance between day and night, and the rebirth of nature. 
Beltane (May Day): A celebration of fertility, fire, and the full bloom of spring into summer. 
Litha (Summer Solstice): The longest day of the year, celebrating the height of the sun's power. 
Lammas: Celebrates the first harvest and the abundance of the earth. 
Mabon (Autumn Equinox): Marks the second harvest and the balance of day and night as the year moves toward darkness. 
Samhain: Honors ancestors, marks the end of the harvest, and signifies the transition into the dark half of the year.
